How to brush your wolf

It took some trial and error to learn how to give sweet Tala a proper brushing. She hated the rake and the furminater didn't do a very good job. I got a cheap metal brush, shown in pic, from that big cheap box store. It seems to work best. I discovered she liked to be brushed backwards. A great discovery! She would lay for me longer but still nipped at me a bit, with no contact, when I pulled a hair or hit a soft spot. One day I distracted her with a bone. She chewed away while I brushed for a full half hour. Now that we've established a routine, acceptable to both woman and wolf, she even turns over and belly ups for me. And doesn't she look beautiful all brushed out and recently bathed?
